Rules of Enjoyment Summary and Information for Owners, Renters, and Guests
The Irene Parking - Sign In:
Every visit, please use the link below to register your vehicle.
SMOKING - No smoking of any kind is allowed in any common indoor area or on oceanside and bayside balconies. $50 fine for each violation. Smoking receptacles are located outside, center of the building, in the front and rear.
NOISE CONCERNS - Please be considerate of your surrounding neighbors and keep nuisance noises at a minimum (example: slamming doors, loud music, shouting, dog barking). Excessively loud music and/or conversations are not permitted on either the beach or the bay balcony after 10 p.m.
BALCONY- Cooking, grilling, or other fires are not allowed on either beach or bay balcony. Do not hang clothing or towels on railings. Throwing items of any kind off unit balconies shall be punishable by law and is an arrestable offense.
SAND - The Irene is a SAND FREE building. Please be sure to use the showers at the end of the deck ramps and at the rear door entrance on your body and your beach equipment prior to entering the building.
PARKING - Car registration is $60/week and is obtained from the Irene office during business hours. All vehicles must display the parking permit at all times, or the vehicle will be towed at the owner's expense.
ELEVATOR - No jumping is permitted in the elevators. The elevator system has highly sensitive safety equipment and jumping will cause a service disruption to the elevator, which requires a service call to repair. Unit owners are responsible for the behavior of their renters and guests and will be billed the cost of the elevator repair service call.
LUGGAGE CARTS - The Irene provides several luggage carts for your convenience. Carts must be unloaded in the hallway and are not allowed inside the units. Please return the carts to the lobby cart room immediately after unloading as carts are in constant demand.
TRASH - Trash chutes are located between the 03 and 04 units on each floor. Trash must be tied up in kitchen trash bags and may be disposed of between the hours of 9am and 10pm ONLY. Only bagged trash may go down the chutes. All other oversized trash bags or boxes must be walked to the outside dumpsters. Do NOT dispose of cigarettes, cigars, etc. down the trash chute as it is a significant fire risk.
FIRE AND EMERGENCY - Please refer to the posted Emergency Procedures sign on the back of your unit's front door for directions on safe evacuation for emergency purposes.
GUEST BEHAVIOR - The Irene is a residential community and unit owners are solely responsible for the appropriate behavior of their guests and renters. Dangerous or disruptive behaviors will not be tolerated.
MAINTENANCE - The Irene management and staff are not responsible for interior unit maintenance. Renters and guests must directly contact their rental agency (or owner) for assistance with all maintenance issues or concerns.
DECK - Please be considerate of other owners and guests and keep nuisance noise on the shared deck to a minimum. Noise is not permitted on the deck after 10 p.m. Please do not smoke on the deck and please be sure to clean up your trash.
PETS - Renters and guests are not allowed to bring pets into the building except for certified service animals when required.
GAME/EXERCISE ROOM - Please follow posted hours for the game and exercise room. For safety reasons, children under age 12 are not allowed to be unattended in the space. Any damages incurred will be the unit owner's responsibility to replace/repair. Please enjoy the exercise equipment at your own risk.
VIDEO SURVEILLANCE - All common areas, including but not limited to the lobby, pool, game and exercise room, front and back doors, deck, and parking lot are monitored by video surveillance 24 hours/day.
The Irene Pool Rules of Enjoyment
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY- USE POOL AND POOL AREA AT OWN RISK
Hours of Operation:
- 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Pool reserved for lap swimming only
- 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Pool open for ALL residents
*Pool will close during inclement weather.
Pool Rules:
Please be considerate of others while enjoying the pool- thank you!
- No diving, running, or inappropriate behavior allowed
- NO SAND in pool area - MUST shower before entering
- Children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times
- Swim diapers are required for infants and toddlers
- No smoking or vaping
- No glass containers, no food, no alcoholic beverages in the pool area
- Please clean up all trash before leaving the pool area
- No large floats or body boards
- Lounge chairs are enjoyed on a first-come, first-served, non-reservable basis
- Do not remove pool furniture from the pool area
- No speakers allowed
- No pets are allowed in the pool area
- Owners are responsible for any property damaged by themselves, their guests, or renters, or their children
- The Irene is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
The Irene Policy for Guest Pool Use
- Renters may not bring external guests.
- Large groups may require prior approval from The Association or Property Management.
- Guest privileges may be restricted during holidays, special events, or periods of high occupancy.
